C2R Fitness billed as “a fitness community for the rest of us,” is celebrating its grand opening from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on January 11, at 12505 West Chinden Boulevard, in Boise.
Co-owners Cyn Newsom and Robin Wagner look forward to introducing their unique health club and new therapeutic and anti-aging services. Festivities will include class demonstrations, tours, wellness information, community fitness partner pop-ups, free giveaways, prizes, promotions, food, and fun.
Wagner explains, “Our mission is to provide a non-intimidating, welcoming wellness environment to assist our members in living healthier, productive lives well into their twilight years.”
Newsom adds, “C2R Fitness is the place for those not comfortable in a big box gym, managing a disability or recovering from a sports injury.”
Newsom and Wagner have each been in the healthcare field for more than 20 years—Newsom as a registered nurse and Wagner in business development. They have seen first-hand many patients that could have prevented their stays in the hospital setting with a little knowledge, exercise, and coaching.
Realizing this, they got together and formed C2R Fitness, dedicated to their motto, “Age is a lifestyle.” Available services include a gym with specialized cardio and weight equipment, one-on-one coaching, age-appropriate group classes, educational seminars, social events, towel service, and coffee bar.
